Hey y'all,

I'm REALLY sorry that I am being so flaky in regard to meeting up - especially since so many of you have been so kind to me recently.

I've got quite a bit of freelance work at the moment (which is good) and it's also hard to make firm commitments because I need to be available for interviews (which is good and bad).

There is no-one in my life whom I have decided I want to expel from it - promise!

As I returned to a rather posh hotel to be picked up for Sky News tonight (sorry, sorry, sorry, should have alerted you but will post a link tomorrow), something surreal happened.

A woman turned to Simon Schama and said "I've just given our cab to Helena Christensen, the most beautiful woman in the world."

OK, so perhaps "surreal" isn't quite the word. "Memorable" will do.
